Day 49 IELTS Listening Practice - Section 2

Topic: Public Swimming Pool Guide

Guide: Good morning, everyone. This guide explains the main facilities at Northgate Public Swimming Pool.

Guide: The main pool opens at 6:30 on weekdays. At weekends it opens later, at 8:00, but weekday swimmers can enter from half past six.

Guide: The learner pool is beside the exercise room. It is not beside the cafe, although many parents wait in the cafe while children have lessons.

Guide: Family swim sessions are on Sunday afternoons. They used to be on Saturday, but Saturday afternoons are now reserved for club training.

Guide: The changing rooms are near the side entrance. The main entrance leads to reception, but swimmers should follow signs towards the side entrance after checking in.

Guide: Lockers need a 1 pound coin. If you want a larger locker, you can get a token from reception, but normal lockers use a coin.
