Day 39 IELTS Listening Practice - Section 2
Topic: Sports Complex Map
ComplexGuide: Good afternoon, everyone. Welcome to Rivergate Sports Complex. I will explain the layout of the building, the main sports areas, and a few important services.
ComplexGuide: Visitors should enter through the front entrance. The side entrance is only for staff and delivery vehicles, so please do not use it during your first visit.
ComplexGuide: When you come inside, reception is opposite the membership desk. The booking desk is further along the corridor, so do not stop there if you need general information.
ComplexGuide: The tennis courts have moved since last year. They used to be beside the car park, but now they are behind the sports hall.
ComplexGuide: The swimming pool is next to the training room. Some people look for it near the gym, but the gym is on the other side of the building.
ComplexGuide: The fitness studio is on the first floor. There is a small exercise room on the ground floor, but regular fitness classes are held upstairs.
ComplexGuide: The changing rooms are beside the pool area. The lockers near reception are only for short visits and should not be used before swimming.
ComplexGuide: The booking desk closes at 6:15. The main reception stays open until 7:00, but court bookings cannot be changed after quarter past six.
ComplexGuide: The cafe is near the squash courts. It used to be beside the sports shop, but that area is now used for extra seating.
ComplexGuide: Parking is different for members and visitors. Member parking is near the east gate, but visitor parking is near the west gate.
ComplexGuide: Finally, new members should collect their cards from the admin office. The membership desk can answer questions, but it does not print cards.
ComplexGuide: Please follow the signs in the main corridor, and ask staff if you are unsure where to go.
For facility-map questions, separate visitor, member, and staff areas before choosing the answer.
