Topic: Volunteer Programme Registration

Coordinator: Good morning. Community volunteer office. How can I help?

Applicant: Hello. I would like to register for a volunteer programme.

Coordinator: Certainly. Which area are you interested in?

Applicant: I was hoping to volunteer at the hospital.

Coordinator: The hospital programme is full until September, but we have places in the library programme.

Applicant: The library programme sounds useful. I can do that.

Coordinator: Good. We have two roles: events assistant and reading assistant.

Applicant: Events assistant sounds interesting.

Coordinator: Events assistant is mostly evenings. You said on the form that you prefer daytime work.

Applicant: Yes, daytime is better.

Coordinator: Then reading assistant would suit you.

Applicant: Reading assistant is fine.

Coordinator: The next start date is the eleventh of August.

Applicant: 11 August. That works.

Coordinator: Training is usually at 9:30.

Applicant: I have a college class at nine.
