Day 20 IELTS Listening Practice - Section 1
Topic: Sports Class Registration
Instructor: Good afternoon. Greenway Sports Centre. How can I help?
Student: Hello. I would like to register for a sports class.
Instructor: Certainly. Are you interested in tennis, swimming, or fitness training?
Student: I first thought about tennis, but I would like to join a swimming class.
Instructor: Swimming. What level are you looking for?
Student: I did some swimming last year, so maybe intermediate.
Instructor: The intermediate class is for strong swimmers. I think the beginner class would be better if you are returning after a break.
Student: All right. Please put me in the beginner class.
Instructor: We have beginner swimming on Monday and Wednesday.
Student: Monday would be best.
Instructor: Monday is already full. There are still places on Wednesday.
Student: Wednesday is fine.
Instructor: The Wednesday class starts at seven fifteen in the evening.
Student: Seven fifteen. Good.
Instructor: The course lasts for eight weeks.
Student: Eight weeks. How much does it cost?
Instructor: The full price is 65 pounds.
Student: Do you offer a student discount?
Instructor: Yes. With the student discount, the price is 58 pounds.
Student: 58 pounds. That is fine.
